Merlin triumphs in Lundy Round the Island Race
Nicki Crutchfield in his Achilles 24, Merlin, finished first on handicap in the Lundy Round the Island race on August 8 2009.
Nicki elected to sail without spinnaker, probably a wise move given that he was single handed (the only one in the race). An excellent acheivement and proves how competitive the Achilles can be.

Maryport Marina Overwhelmed

On Saturday 3rd Oct the lock gates failed allowing a huge wave to enter the marina doing lots of damage to the pontoons and to many boats.
